With peaks of 665PS and a colossal 800Nm of torque it also makes the biggest-ever jump in power and torque compared to the model it succeeds, those increases of 155PS and 115Nm equating to gains of 30% and 15% respectively. These higher outputs have been achieved through extensive tuning by Aston Martin engineers, the adoption of modified cam profiles, optimised compression ratios, larger turbos, and increased cooling yielding the impressive new figures and creating an engine with a sharper, more visceral and more vocal character. Mated to an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission this is enough to propel the two-seater sports car to a top speed of 202mph and punch it from a standstill to 60mph in just 3.4sec. Both the shortened Final Drive Ratio (3.083:1) and transmission shift calibration have been honed to maximise response and enjoyment, the former delivering punchier in-gear acceleration, while the latter reduces shift speeds and offers different shift characteristics to suit each of the Vantage’s dynamic modes. Standing start acceleration has been perfected with the introduction of a new Launch Control system. Fully integrated with the powertrain, transmission and Electronic Stability Programme (ESP), when engaged by the driver, Launch Control allows the car to deploy as much torque as conditions allow, using the E-Diff, ESP slip control and engine torque management to keep wheel slip in the optimal range throughout the launch. The driver can also dial-in the precise amount of slip they desire during the launch by making changes via the Adjustable Traction Control (ATC) system – reducing or increasing the amount of controlled wheelspin permitted by the Launch Control System or allowing themselves full throttle control by setting the ATC to Traction Control (TC) Off. Liberating additional engine performance has increased thermal load, which has required a complete redesign of the engine cooling system. To ensure stable intake air temperatures are achieved in all conditions, an additional low temperature radiator has been fitted to the charge cooler water circuit, with a further two auxiliary coolers added to the existing central main radiator to further increase thermal capacity. The oil system has also benefitted from extensive upgrades, with the auxiliary outboard engine oil cooler now boasting twice the face area of its predecessor. This time I have visited a great car event in The Netherlands, called '100% Auto Live' and 'Supercar Madness' organized by 402Automotive. Also this SVJ joined these events. This matte black Lamborghini Aventador SVJ is from famous influencer Gercollector. With almost 3.5 million followers on various platforms, Gercollector is a well-known German car influencer. He is not only known for his impressive car collection, but for his mysterious appearance. Always shrouded in a helmet, his true identity remains a mystery to his audience. His SVJ has been modified with a straight piped Novitec exhaust. Under the hood you will find the 6.5-liter V12 producing 800HP. Only 900 unites of the SVJ are produced. Enjoy the video. Power is set to all four wheels via an 8-speed automatic gearbox, and it weighs in at 2,067kg. If you want to pick one up, it’ll set you back around £133,000. Then we have the BMW M8. Under the bonnet, you’ll find a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8, and this can put down 625hp and 750Nm of torque. It comes with four-wheel drive and an 8-speed automatic gearbox, and it tips the scales at 2,074kg. It’s slightly more expensive than the RS7, with a price tag of £138,000. Finally, we have the AMG. It’s powered by a 4-litre twin-turbo V8 that produces 639hp and 900Nm of torque. It sends power to all four wheels via a 9-speed automatic gearbox, and it tips the scales at 2,045kg. It’s the most expensive car here, costing around £154,000. So the AMG has the most power and the least weight! Surely it’ll be a walkover, right? There’s only one way to find out… LET’S RACE!

So, how does the new Gravity SUV – Lucid's difficult second album – stack up? 2024 McLaren 750s Spider | Interior and exterior | 8K Visual review
With the new 750S, McLaren defines a new benchmark for supercar performance and driver exhilaration. The lightest and most powerful series-production McLaren, the new V8-engined, rear-wheel drive 750S – which is available in coupe and convertible form – is unashamedly a supercar for the purist. Designed and engineered following meticulous analysis of the renowned McLaren 720S, the new 750S combines advances in weight-saving, powertrain performance, aerodynamics and dynamic excellence to elevate a benchmark driving experience to new heights. Around 30 per cent of 750S components are either new or changed in order to deliver these improvements and with them an even greater emotional connection to the car. With all available carbon fibre and lightweight options selected, the coupe weighs 1,277kg in dry lightest form, which delivers a segment-leading power-to-weight ratio of 587PS-per-tonne. This is a remarkable 193kg lighter than its closest competitor and delivers a power-to-weight advantage of 22PS. The 750S Spider is designed with the same focus on minimising weight. It features a Retractable Hard Top (RHT), rollover protection system and a bespoke rear upper structure to the monocoque constructed from carbon fibre, but such is the strength of the carbon fibre monocoque that no additional reinforcement is needed. This ensures the Spider is equally impressive in power-to-weight terms and segment-leading at 566PS-per-tonne, at its lightest dry weight of 1,326kg. The extraordinary levels of exhilaration, precision, agility, feel and feedback that the 750S delivers are immediately apparent to the driver, even at lower speeds – and its low weight is a key factor in its dynamic performance. At just 1,389kg (DIN), it weighs 30kg less than a 720S – a clear example of McLaren's dedication to lightweight engineering. This philosophy of performance-based innovation is evidenced by features such as carbon fibre-shelled racing seats that are a combined 17.5kg lighter than the base seats in a 720S. New 10-spoke ultra-lightweight forged wheels are the lightest ever fitted as standard on a series-production McLaren and save 13.8kg. The new driver instrument display is lighter by 1.8kg. Even the windscreen glass contributes to weight reduction, providing a 1.6kg saving. The 4.0-litre, twin-turbocharged V8 engine with power of 750PS and torque of 800Nm provides ferocious performance, with the 750S capable of 0-100km/h in 2.8 seconds and 0-200km/h in 7.2 seconds (Spider 7.3 seconds). This is quicker than its closest competitor on both measures. In-gear acceleration is amplified by optimised transmission gearing and a revised kickdown control strategy. McLaren's Proactive Chassis Control linked-hydraulic suspension, which is renowned for combining astonishingly precise body control with a remarkably compliant ride, is now even more impressive in new PCC III form.
